Get ready for a festival that will take your breath away! Welcome to OK Air Fest, where the sky is the limit and adventure awaits. We’re talking with Carri Lawrence, co founder & organizer, about an unforgettable three-day celebration of flight, extreme sports, and community spirit happening on Historic Route 66 in El Reno, Oklahoma.
Witness jaw-dropping aerial exhibitions from world-champion stunt pilots, acrobatic paramotors, and soaring paragliders. But the fun isn't just in the sky! On the ground, you can experience a massive car show, a high-stakes gaming tournament, a bully dog show, and BMX and skateboarding exhibitions. Plus, you’ll enjoy live music all weekend long from Oklahoma’s most talented artists and a wide selection of delicious food from local food trucks.
Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a family looking for a unique outing, or an adventurer at heart, this is a festival you won't want to miss. OK Air Fest takes off September 5–7, 2025 at the Canadian County Expo. Don't just watch the action—be a part of it!
The historic city of El Reno, Oklahoma lies at the crossroads of Route 66 and the Chisholm Trail, now known as U.S. Highway 81. It has plenty of Historic Landmarks and RT66 attractions and sights plus we hear you may find some famous onion burgers.
We'll also touch on the Friends of Nicoma Park, the Route 66 Commission, Jake’s Rib, Rush Springs Watermelon Festival and Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell.
Special Thanks to our partner, Friends of Nicoma Park.
