Big developments are coming to Oklahoma State Parks! Following recent shifts within the Oklahoma Department of Tourism and Recreation, Lake Murray Lodge is officially opening its doors to Arcadia’s very own Chicken Shack.
After a thorough 9-month bidding process to ensure transparency and proper oversight, the state selected Chicken Shack to take over the lodge's dining operations. Originally starting in Luther back in 2016 before expanding to Route 66 in Arcadia, Chicken Shack will now bring its iconic fried chicken, wings, and sides down to Lake Murray.
This new partnership is expected to create 12 to 15 off-season jobs and up to 20–25 jobs during peak summer seasons, with local hiring kicking off soon!
